What is the Hers Weight Loss Membership?

The Hers Weight Loss Membership gives you access to a range of GLP-1 medications if eligible, plus unlimited support from a dedicated Care Team.

Your membership also includes in-app weight tracking to help you monitor your progress, dosage adjustments as your needs evolve, and support for managing common side effects.

How much does the Hers Weight Loss Membership cost?

You’ll pay a $39 membership fee at checkout for your first month. After that, your membership auto-renews at $149 per month (medication cost not included). You can cancel anytime, but canceling your membership will also cancel any active medication plan and access to care through the platform.

If prescribed, your medication is billed separately (monthly or upfront, based on your plan), and the price of the medication depends on your prescribed treatment, if eligible. You can cancel your medication plan anytime, and it won’t affect your active membership.

What are my medication options through Hers?

Hers offers access to an affordable range of FDA-approved GLP-1 medications, including the Wegovy® Pill, Wegovy® Pen, Zepbound® KwikPen®, Zepbound® Vial, Foundayo™ Pill, and Ozempic® Pill.

Designed to fit your lifestyle and your wallet, these medications are clinically proven to promote weight loss.

Ozempic® and Wegovy® are the registered trademarks of Novo Nordisk A/S. Zepbound® and KwikPen® are registered trademarks of Eli Lilly and Company. Foundayo is a trademark of Eli Lilly and Company. Hims, Inc. is not affiliated with or endorsed by Eli Lilly and Company.

Are video visits with a doctor required?

Depending on your state, treatment may be determined without a video visit. If a visit is needed, scheduling a video or audio appointment is simple and convenient. If prescribed, a provider will be just a message away for follow-ups, adjustments, and ongoing support. Response times may vary.

    Is insurance required?

Insurance isn’t required, so there are no complicated insurance questions or health insurance plan considerations.

Do you take FSA and HSA?

We recommend using a valid credit or debit card and submitting reimbursement.

Payment with an FSA/HSA card may require additional steps from your provider. If you happen to use your FSA/HSA card, your provider may reach out to request a receipt for reimbursement before processing the payment.

If this happens, head to the "Orders" tab to find your receipt. From there, you can download your receipt and follow your FSA/HSA provider's reimbursement instructions.

FSA/HSA eligibility and coverage varies by plan provider.

Who qualifies for weight loss medication at Hers?

A state-licensed provider reviews the health history, weight loss goals, and unique patient needs of every individual patient to see if they qualify before prescribing any kind of treatment.

Are GLP-1s available in all states?

GLP-1s are not yet available in all 50 states. However, Hers is working to expand our offering as soon as possible.

What if I’m already on a GLP-1 and want to switch to Hers?

First, you’ll complete an intake with us so our qualified network of providers can review your medical history and current treatment. In many cases, care can be continued without starting over. Throughout the transition, you’ll have access to licensed providers and unlimited messaging support to ensure a safe, smooth experience.

How long do I need to stay on medication?

Weight loss treatment is meant for long-term use. When you stop taking it, the triggers that previously drove unhealthy eating behaviors may return. Always speak with a licensed medical provider before stopping treatment.

When will I see weight loss results?

Remember, results aren’t instant. Because everyone’s weight loss journey is different, the timeline for results may vary from person to person.

Can a provider change my dosage at any point during my treatment?

Hers members receiving weight loss medications can request a medication adjustment right from the app.

If a provider determines a dosage change is necessary, they’ll write a new prescription and provide you with updated treatment information.

Dosage and titration vary based on provider discretion. Pricing may vary by dosage.
